Mon, 04 Nov 2013If you thought the old Daihatsu Copen roadster was a bit feminine for a ‘sports’ car, you’ll be pleased with this: Daihatsu’s new, butched-up, small two-seater roadster, the 2014 RMZ Kopen concept. The aggressive-looking mini cabriolet will make its world debut at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show later this month alongside another, rather interesting version of Daihatsu’s didi prototype – the off-road-inspired XMZ Kopen concept. Call to cut school run car journeys
Tue, 17 Jun 2014A 10% CUT in school run car journeys would boost Britain's economy by around £46 million a year, a sustainable transport charity has claimed. Sustrans, which is calling on the Government to formally recognise the right of every child to be able to walk or cycle to school safely, estimates that ferrying children to school by car accounts for 24% of peak time traffic. Using Department for Transport modelling to calculate the financial drain on business caused by rush-hour congestion, Sustrans estimated that a 14% reduction in car use for school runs would take 167,000 vehicles off the road with an annual "saving" of £66.2 million.
One lap of the web: obscure muscle cars and obscured Opels
Wed, 18 Dec 2013-- Not only is Bryan Adams the best-selling Canadian rock artist of all time, he's also big in Germany. So popular in fact, that (get this) Opel is building a limited edition Opel Adam dubbed "ADAM by Bryan Adams." The ADAM by Bryan Adams will feature black wheels and dark gray camouflage paintwork reminiscent of NATO winter patterns. Adams created the design himself, because when you think "Bryan Adams" -- you think winter camouflage!
