THE SALE of a special edition 'Limited Pink Passion' Smart FourTwo has raised hundreds of pounds for charity, BCA has reported. The used vehicle auction specialist held a special sale its Blackbushe centre with organisational help for car dealer Fred Andy. The event raised £500, with an additional £250 donation from BCA and £750 generated through further fund-raising by Mr Andy.

The 2013 British Grand Prix at Silverstone (pictured) saw a rash of tyre failures It’s the ‘home’ Grand Prix at Silvertsone for not just the British drivers, but a chunk of the teams that are based in the UK for their F1 operations. The front row of Mercedes’ Hamilton and Rosberg (based in Brackley) and a second row of Red Bulls (based in Milton Keynes) promised plenty of action, and that’s what we got. You know the headline: “Fast and the Furious” star Paul Walker died Saturday when the driver of the red 2005 Porsche Carrera GT that Walker was riding in lost control in a business park drive, wrapped the Porsche around a tree, and then the Porsche burned. But less likely to make headlines was the death of the driver of the car, Walker's friend for nearly a decade, Roger Rodas, who became Walker's formal business partner and financial advisor in 2007.
