Fisker buys BMW engines for Project Nina
Fri, 02 Sep 2011Fisker's Project Nina will get BMW Engines You’ve probably got used to stories about Henrik Fisker’s eponymous car company, makers of the convincing range-extender sports saloon, the Fisker Karma. But you may not be quite as au fait with Fisker’s future plans – Project Nina. Project Nina is Henrik Fisker’s equivalent of Tesla’s Model S – it’s where a niche car maker goes mainstream.

Fri, 11 Apr 2014Christian Von Koenigsegg and Drive are back with another installment of “Inside Koenigsegg.” Episode 3 focuses on the One:1's active rear wing. The naked carbon-fiber wing on the 1,360-hp Koenigsegg One:1 gets a front-top mounting, which reportedly causes less turbulence than a rear-mounted wing. The total weight is about 20 pounds, which von Koenigsegg claims is about 1/3 of what most active wing systems weigh.

Prior to the reveal of the LF-A we had Dutch car journo Thomas Bangma telling us that the LF-A was the best driving car ever (we’re sure it’s wonderful – but the best ever?). We then had the reveal of the LF-A at the Tokyo Motor Show in October, when it was revealed that the LF-A will cost upwards of £300k and just 500 will be built.
