Well, Jaguar F-Type was one of the monikers we pitched as a possibility for the new Jaguar Roadster and Coupe previewed by the C-X16 Concept, but it was a long way off the top of the list. But Jaguar F-Type it is and, for what it’s worth, we approve.

Production cars included the Ford F-150, Corvette Z06, BMW M3 and M4, Subaru WRX STI and the Porsche 911 Targa, while on the concept front we saw the Toyota FT-1, Nissan Sport Sedan and Kia GT4 Stinger just to name a few. Subaru launches production of BRZ, Scion FR-S coupes in Japan
Fri, 16 Mar 2012Subaru on Friday officially launched production of the rear-drive BRZ sports coupe in its Gunma Main Plant factory in Japan. The plant also builds the Toyota version--which will be sold as the Scion FR-S in the United States--as the Toyota 86 in Japan and as the Toyota GT-86 in Europe. We expect the Subaru BRZ and the Scion FR-S to be in U.S.
