Road users wary of driverless cars
Wed, 30 Jul 2014ROAD USERS will be wary of the introduction of driverless cars, motoring groups said today. The AA said Business Secretary Vince Cable was today expected to confirm that the first trials of driverless cars would start in January 2015. But AA president Edmund King said that a recent AA/ Populus survey of more than 23,000 AA members showed that 43% did not agree that UK legislation should be amended to even allow trials of the technology.

Oracle Finance has been busy looking at the premiums being charged for desirable cars (and, presumably, willing to finance to premium too) and have discovered that those not on Ferrari’s VIP list – and therefore not invited to buy a LaFerrari from Maranello – are willing to pay a premium of £1 million to get their hands on Ferrari’s replacement for the Enzo. But it’s not just LaFerrari that’s commanding hefty premiums.

Wed, 09 Feb 2011Peugeot 508 SW 'Allroad' We’re only just starting to see the Peugeot 508 – the replacement for both the 407 and 607 – hitting roads in Europe, but already we’re starting to see evidence that Peugeot aren’t going to be settling for just the Saloon and the Estate. It looks like Peugeot are intending having a crack at Audi and their Allroad A6 if the spy photo we grabbed is anything to go by. But if this is 4WD – and it almost certainly is – what sort of 4WD is it running?
