Vauxhall DROPS Lifetime Warranty – quietly during the Paris Motor Show news rush
Fri, 03 Oct 2014Vauxhall DROPS Lifetime Warranty Vauxhall trumpeted the arrival of a Lifetime Warranty for all their new cars 4 years ago, a move that was designed to show confidence in their cars and tackle the substantial warranties on new cars offered by companies like Hyundai and Kia. But now, in a lesson doubtless learned from ‘bad news’ burying in politics, Vauxhall has revealed they’re dropping the Lifetime Warranty from 2015, no doubt hoping it won’t make headlines in the middle of the news rush from the Paris Motor Show. So now, instead of a lifetime warranty (which was really only for 100,000 miles) buyers of new Vauxhalls will get a fairly bog-standard 60,000 mile/3 year warranty.
Rolls-Royce Wraith (2013) first official pictures
Tue, 05 Mar 2013This is the Rolls-Royce Wraith, an imperious super-coupe that will debut today at the 2013 Geneva motor show. It’s the most powerful model Rolls-Royce has ever built, and the price befits that status: the Wraith costs £250,000. Just how much power does the Rolls-Royce Wraith need to be the most powerful model in this posh British marque’s history?
Peugeot HR1 concept
Mon, 18 Oct 2010Alongside the new 508, Peugeot unveiled a B-segment SUV concept called the HR1 in Paris. The new car builds on the new design identity established by the SR1 concept, but also features elements of the diminutive BB1 concept revealed at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show. Read our opinion of the new design in our 2010 Paris Motor Show Highlights, and see more photos, sketches and renderings of the HR1 concept in our photo gallery below.
