More 2014 Range Rover Sport pictures arrive ahead of New York reveal
Tue, 26 Mar 2013With just a few hours to go before the 2014 Range Rover Sport makes its live debut driving through New York, we have more official photos of Land Rover’s new sporty RR. So with all the leaks that have gone on with the new RRS we thought we might as well post a few more photos of the new Range Rover Sport that have dropped in to our inbox tonight. This time the photos are higher resolution and include studio shots which gives us a better view of the detail on the new Sport, much of which is either from the new Range Rover or the Evoque, tweaked and made individual to the Sport.
Lotus Exige S Roadster Official: Price (£52,800) and Specs
Wed, 22 May 2013It’s the first properly good news from Lotus for a while, and looks a promising offering at the same price (£52,800) as the tin top Exige S and, remarkably for a convertible, actually weighing less than the hard top – although by only 10kg. The Exige S Roadster gets the same 3.5 litre V6 as the coupe which means 345bhp, 295lb/ft of torque and a 0-60mph of a very respectable 3.8 seconds, but it does lose the coupe’s rear wing and front splitter for better airflow. The folding roof on the Roadster is a manual affair, but Lotus say fresh air motoring is just ‘Two clicks and a roll away’, so the manual roof is probably the best – and lightest – option.
Porsche Panamera designer focused on rear-seat passengers
Mon, 06 Apr 2009There's no mistaking it for anything but a Porsche, but with four doors and four full seats, the Panamera is like no previous Porsche. Styled by a team of in-house designers under the direction of Michael Mauer, the Panamera is 195.7 inches long, 76.0 inches wide and 55.8 inches tall--making it slightly shorter but wider and lower than the Maserati Quattroporte, with which it shares a coupelike profile. As with all such silhouettes, "the real challenge is giving the rear-seat passengers enough headroom," says Mauer.
