Fancy driving Hyundai’s Hydrogen ix35 Fuel Cell?

As part of the European Hydrogen Road Tour, Hyundai are offering members of the public the chance to drive the ix35 FCEV. As we revealed back in August, the Hyundai ix35 FCEV – Hyundai’s hydrogen-powered electric ix35 – is going in to production before the end of 2012, the first proper production fuel cell vehicle…in the world. The initial production run is small – just 1,000 cars – but Hyundai are planning to put the ix35 FCEV in to full production by 2015, by which time they’re hoping there will be a viable hydrogen refuelling infrastructure in place.

England to ban car park cameras?

Static cameras and ‘spy cars’ fitted with video surveillance equipment could be banned in England following communities secretary Eric Pickle’s statement that he wanted to “rein in over-zealous and unfair rules.” The government isn’t looking to eradicate parking enforcement altogether, however. SsangYong releases new Rodius sketches

SsangYong has released the first images of its new Rodius MPV, soon to be unveiled at next month's Geneva motor show. Based on SsangYong's ‘Robust, Premium, Specialty' design philosophy the carmaker says the new Rodius is "styled to be fit for outdoor, off-road driving as well as on-road driving". The front three-quarter sketch shows that the exaggerated, streamlined front grille has been retained – albeit it with a slight modification – while it also features angular headlamps.
