This is the new Lexus GS, which has just been revealed at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California, USA. Presumably the new Lexus GS is clean and green? Well, yes, but much of the official Lexus press release is filled with phrases like ‘improved driving dynamics’ and ‘packed with innovative performance’, but no mention is made of fuel consumption or emission figures.

The Renault Wind gets its first public airing at Geneva The Renault Wind gets its first public airing at Geneva Last month Renault revealed that the Twingo CC we were expecting to make an appearance would – but as the Renault Wind. Which seems to be because Renault want us to perceive the Wind as a bit more upmarket that the Twingo on which it’s based. Nissan has released details of the all electric Nissan LEAF EV Update 18/3/2010: Nissan has announced that the Nissan LEAF will be built at its plant in Sunderland UK, starting 2013. The Nissan LEAF is trumpeted as Nissan’s Zero Emissions Electric Car. The LEAF will go on sale in Japan, America and Europe in late 2010, and as we already knoew, Nissan is working on battery production and charging infrastructure in the UK, Portugal and other countries.
