Up for grabs, I have a lower unit taken from a 1989 85 HP Force outboard. This will replace any force lower unit with the coupler and removable driveshaft, I believe these were on 85-150 HP 1989-1994 Force outboard models. The lower unit is in good used condition. It was used on a fresh water motor. It shifts well into all gears, and the gear oil shows no signs of water! The skeg is damaged as you can see in the pcitures, but it can certainly be used as it is without any change in performance. If you are concerned about the skeg, a skeg gaurd could be installed. I recommend checking the impeller as I do with all used lower units.
Feel free to email me with any questions. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. Shipping is fast and FREE. |

Citroën Technospace concept
Fri, 08 Feb 2013Citroën has revealed its new Technospace concept ahead of Geneva, which previews the new C4 Picasso. The compact MPV concept – which measures in at 4,430mm long, 1,830mm wide and 1,610mm high – debuts next month in Geneva and appears to be a near-production version of the next C4 Picasso, with Citroën confirming it will be on sale by the end of the year. In comparison to the outgoing C4 Picasso, it shares some recognizable characteristics like the large windshield curving into the roof, together with the four-light greenhouse with blacked-out pillars.
Video: Jaguar XF clay model gets axed
Thu, 07 Jun 2012Jaguar recently gave a trio of clay modelers the task of deconstructing the original model of their carefully and lovingly sculpted XF sedan by handing them axes and sledgehammers in front of a camera crew. The modelers – dressed in black t-shirts and jeans – are shown taking apart the model piece by piece, perhaps taking out their frustration with designers who feel the need to get a little too hands-on with their artisan handiwork. Perhaps some other car manufacturers could using this as inspiration to destroy some of their cars, maybe – naming no names – before reaching production.
Silverstone gets British Grand Prix
Mon, 07 Dec 2009Silverstone has won a 17 year deal to host the British Grand Prix Now the farce that was the Donnington bid has been expunged, we’ve been waiting for confirmation that Bernie Ecclestone will take in to account more than just money and confirm that the British Grand Prix will survive. It seemed certain last week that a deal would happen, and the official announcement has come this morning that Silverstone has secured a 17 year deal to host F1. The key to the deal seems to be the length of the agreement.
