1980 Ford Pickup Sales Booklet Measures 9 x 11 inches 20 pages including front & back covers Came to me with some other literature I got. Here is very nice piece; it is intact and very presentable. It is NOT mint, it shows a little wear on the corners and spine from sitting sitting around for 0ver 30 years. It covers the all model of Ford Pickups, Ranger, Ranger Lariat, Ranger XLT and Ranger Custom (this when the Ranger was still a F-150). The Free Wheeling Pickups packages are shown, and the New Ford Supercab. 4WD gets a mention and so do the camping and towing packages. Specification for the 2-wheel drive through the F-350. The Ford Truck fan a must have piece of advertising. Keep an eye on my auctions, we are cleaning house. The family has been in the house 160 years and our interests have been many and varied. Thu, 21 Jan 2010Kia wil preview the Kia Ray Concept plug-in hybrid at the Chicago Motor Show next month Yes, the Detroit Motor Show is only just about done, but waiting in the wings is the rather less fancy Chicago Motor Show (although they probably won’t thank us for describing it as such). But despite Chicago being a lower key affair than Detroit they will still get their share of new stuff. Well, not necessarily new (we reported that North America gets the BMW Alpina B7 which will debut at Chicago) but certainly new to the US.
Children more distracting than cell phones, study finds
Tue, 16 Apr 2013Parents of small children will not be surprised by findings released recently by Australian researchers stating children pose a greater distraction to drivers than talking on cell phones -- a 12 percent greater distraction, to be exact. With all the screaming and crying infants bring to the commute and the fighting and other factors older siblings contribute, we wonder why nobody has pointed a finger at our precious angels sooner. Perhaps because there is little we can do to control when or where our kids decide to dissolve into fits of rage or sorrow.

And it has in its sites the Ford Focus, the VW Golf and the new Mazda 3.
