The picture you see is the exact part or parts, (or the same exact part number/s), that you will receive. Items described as unopened may have one or two of the item opened for pictures and immediately re-closed.

You are responsible to research and decide if what you see in the pictures and read in the description is the item/s you need.

One of no matter how many are shown in the pictures is what you will receive. Unless, the listing states one unit of multiple, (2, 3, etc.), quantity. We include multiple parts in the pictures, sometimes, to give the buyer a better conceptual idea of what the item or items look like. Your item will be genuine brand name, (example Ford etc.), unless clearly listed as a replacement part. You may or may not receive a box, envelope or brand packaging as is shown in the picture. Your item/s will be marked clearly and packaged carefully and WILL be brand name items unless otherwise stated in the title and/or description.

Some items might have surface rust. We will make an attempt to show that condition on a typical part in our pictures to make you aware. In our opinion if an item is listed. The rust will not have a detrimental effect on function. It certainly will effect cosmetic appearance.

Ford's forgotten T-Drive program

Mon, 29 Oct 2012

Digital boss Andy Stoy recently passed along this little piece of nearly forgotten Ford history from the early 1990s. We know that our girl Murilee Martin dug this up way back in 2010, but the wonder of the Ford T-Drive system is worth revisiting. According to Drivingenthusiast.com, “T-drive is a system consisting of a transversally located inline engine, a transmission and associated packaging.” The transmission is mounted to the side of the engine, or the back, depending on how you look at things.

British artist Damien Hirst has helped Audi produce this art car: an Audi A1, which sold for €420,000 (£350,000) at a charity raffle. The Audi A1 Damien Hurst was shown at pop star Elton John’s White Tie and Tiara Ball and the money raised goes to his AIDS foundation. ‘That’s the most exciting object we’ve ever had on auction at the White Tie,’ said Sir Elton.

College Exhibition: Royal College of Art Vehicle Design students prepare for the The Show 2004

Wed, 16 Jun 2004

June 16, 2004 - Final year students at London's Royal College of Art postgraduate Vehicle Design course are preparing for their annual degree show. The design concepts exhibited by the 17 graduating students explore themes for future mobility, including: A public bike using new plastic forming technologies, a three-wheeled motorcycle for Aprilia, and a mobile living space that solves the probems of commuting by moving the home close to the workplace. Heung Soo Kim's coupe concept explores 'light as communication', with intuitive gestural driver controls, simplified instrumentation using color-coded indicators and exterior lamp elements embedded within the vehicle's glass surfaces.
