Here is a new product from the very impressive machine shop that makes the Harland Sharp line of valvetrain components.  This kit has been designed for the Ford 2.9L OHV "Cologne" V-6 engine that was used in Rangers, Broncos from 1986 thru 1992, and in Merkur Scorpios in 1988 - 1989.

This item includes one engine's worth of rocker shafts, roller rocker arms, cradles to mount and locate the shafts and arms, allen head cap screws to mount the assemblies, thin flat washers that fit between the cap screws and the assemblies, and threaded plugs for each end of each shaft.

Features:

  * 1.6:1 roller rocker arms w/ adjustment screws

  * needle bearings in each arm

  * cradles to mount each rocker shaft and to locate each arm . . . no stock locating springs pressing each arm into the stock pedestals

  * precisely milled allen head cap screws - one per assembly, two per kit - to allow oiling of the assemblies' components via the centrally located hole in each head

The kit includes:

  * Two (2) rocker shafts

  * Two (2) cradles

  * Twelve (12) needle bearing roller rocker arms w/ 1.6:1 ratio and adjustment screws for pushrods (that you will have to source)

  * Six (6) allen head cap screws - of which two (2) are milled for oil flow to each assembly

  * Six (6) thin flat washers

  * Four (4) threaded plugs (not pictured)

Six of the eight photos show parts of one of these kits installed on a 2.9L head.  The head IS NOT included in this item, nor are the valves, springs, retainers, or keepers shown.

CCS, with an enrollment of nearly 1,400, is one of the world's leading art and design schools. Electric Renault to take on 2,000-mile Pod Point challenge

A RENAULT Zoe electric car is about to cover 2,000 miles up and down the country to prove that a linked and entirely functional network of electric charging points already exists. The full-electric supermini will take on challenges, attempt to break records and join in for loads of festivities throughout the 17-day grand tour, all using public electric charging points. What's more, Pod Point, the company behind the endeavour, will install more points wherever it thinks they're needed on its route around Great Britain.

In addition to a complete inside-and-out redesign, the big story for the new-for-2013 Range Rover was the weight savings -- about 700 pounds worth thanks to an all-aluminum unibody structure. On Wednesday, we caught wind of the 2014 model. Word on the street is Jaguar-Land Rover's 3.0-liter supercharged V6 will replace the normally aspirated V8 for next year.
