***The fun fine print type stuff***
1. It is extremely time prohibitive for me to research the specs and fits of every part I list. I do a quick search on here and through Google and rely on the information that I find quickly. It is your responsibility to be sure this part will fit your vehicle before bidding or buying, despite what my auction listing may say. If you message me I will do everything possible to assist you with determining if this part is what you need. If you do not ask for my help do not expect a refund or return because it is not the part you need. I am not trying to trick anyone into buying a part that will not suite their purpose.
2. Most items are shipped the same day or the very next day, but occasionally life gets in the way and it may take 2-3 days before your item is shipped. This is not a full time job for me and I have responsibilities just like you. If this is going to be a problem please message me before bidding or buying to be sure that I will be able to get your item shipped within the 2 days stated.
3. I have never made money off of shipping charges. In a lot of cases I actually lose money on shipping. I am charged 10% by ebay and do not calculate my expenses into the cost. Ink, paper, tape, packing materials and my fuel used dropping items off adds up. If you think my shipping charges are too high, do not buy my items.
4. By the time I have pulled a part, cleaned it, arranged it for pictures, and then taken it to a storage area I am usually familiar with any defects and I do my best to list my parts as honestly as possible. However, I am human and do make mistakes. If the part you receive has a defect that is NOT shown in the photos please message me and I will do my best to resolve the issue. This does not apply to mechanical parts that are listed as-is but end up not working

Early cars, fashion on display at the Petersen

Thu, 16 Sep 2010

Automotivated, a new exhibit at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, traces the evolution of clothes worn in cars--from the bulky circus-tent stuff people had to wear to keep from freezing to death in the jangly, open-topped conveyances of 100 years ago, up to the height of the European Concours in the 1920s and '30s, when what you and your date wore was just as important to winning best of show as the styling of your Delahaye/Delage/Talbot Lago. “In the earliest days of the automobile, you were sitting on the car, you weren't sitting in it,” said Leslie Kendall, curator at the Petersen. So the first section of the exhibit shows people (mannequins dressed as people) in heavy, practical overcoats, scarves and goggles.

Porsche 911 Carrera 4 (2012) first official pictures

Tue, 28 Aug 2012

Porsche has a new four-wheel drive - but it's not the Macan crossover, or an SUV of any description. The new-generation 911 has had the all-paw treatment, growing wider wings and fatter tyres in the process. It's also lost around 65kg compared with the old 997 Carrera 4, and Porsche claims it's a good deal faster too.

It takes the Hemi V8 and boosts it with a supercharger to produce 707bhp and 650lb ft of torque. No wonder Chrysler claims the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is the most powerful production muscle car ever.
