this bell housing has never been used, has scratches and marks and some rust spots here and there, but it is in great shape.

i purchased this about 2 years ago with a 64 fairlane basket case car. the owner told me that he bought the bell housing new and never used it. i havnt used it at all, so it is practically new. it does have some scratches and marks on it from laying around, but other than that it is new. this is for a 289 302 or 351 winzer small block.

VW releases sketch of U.S.-made sedan

Volkswagen of America has released a sketch of its new mid-size sedan that will go on sale in the fall of 2011 as a 2012 model-year car. The factory currently being built by VW in Chattanooga, Tenn., will start producing cars in the spring of 2011. Sales of the mid-size sedan will be at least 100,000 units annually at full capacity.

"Room for debate" on minimum driving age increase

MOTORISTS are concerned about the minimum driving age, according to new research. More than a third of drivers (35%) think the minimum age should be raised, with 40% of those people believing the starting point should be 21, according to the study carried out by British Car Auctions (BCA). Four in 10 of all people questioned said they felt that a reduction in the overall accident rate would be a welcome outcome of an adjustment of the legal minimum driving age.

Porsche Panamera and Cayenne recalled for turbo issues

Porsche is recalling certain 2011 and 2012 Panamera Turbo and Turbo S sedans and the Cayenne Turbo for a problem with the turbine wheel of the turbocharger. A summary of the problem on the NHTSA site states that the wheel might fracture because of a casting defect. If that occurs, vehicle performance will be decreased and the turbine shaft might fracture, leading to more expensive repairs.
