This is a used Edelbrock 289 Performer aluminum intake manifold for the Ford/Mercury 260/289/302. The Edelbrock part number is 2121. It is in good shape, and could use a cleaning. The thread hole for the missing stud accepts another stud without problems (I misplaced the original stud, and I don't have an identical one to replace it with). The fittings and thermostat housing (a C9OE housing), as shown, is included. This was removed from a 1964 260 Comet when it was being converted back to a stock 2 barrel configuration. Shipping 48 states is listed as $22.50. International shipping is available, please contact me for the fee before bidding. Questions are welcomed.

Aston Martin V12 Zagato confirmed for limited production

Sat, 02 Jul 2011

Aston Martin V12 Zagato confirmed for production It didn’t take a genius to work out that the Aston Martin V12 Zagato would not just be incarnated as the Zig and Zag cars for the Nurburgring, but as a proper production car. Not a production car in the true sense, but a limited edition car much like the Aston Martin Zagato’s gone by. In fact we reported some time ago that we expected the V12 Zagato to start a limited production run of either 89 or 99 cars as soon as the Aston Martin One-77 ends production, and that the target price would be in the £300-350k range.

Louis Vuitton Classic Concours d'Elegance 2004

Fri, 11 Jun 2004

June 11, 2004 - While the British Motor Show seems to have degenerated into a low-brow car carnival, shunned by some manufacturers and most designers, Britain still hosts some of the best classic car events in Europe that can attract top entries and enthusiasts alike. Last week, the 14th Louis Vuitton Classic was held at Waddesdon Manor, near Oxford, UK, a fabulous Renaissance-style chateau built by the Rothschilds in 1874 and set in 2500 acres of landscaped grounds. This year the event was open to the public for the first time and appeared to challenge the celebrated Goodwood Festival of Speed for the sheer quality of exhibits, number of celebrities and a suitably glamorous setting.
