Hello, selling a totally rebuilt Beautiful set of REAL 289 HIPO heads date codes are 5K2 AND 7B3. One is a C5OE and the other being a Very Rare C7ZE. These both have the same chamber sizes. both have a #21. These both are in very nice condition, no repairs,no cracks, no welds,and the pushrod guide holes have no damage. these both have been rebuilt as a set. New oversize valves serfaced and are both ported on the exhaust side about an inch inward from the exhaust opening, and on the intake ports an inch inward lightly. intake or exhaust valves look to be stainless in believe. I took them apart and stripped the paint job that was done and reasembled them for shipping, buyer should have them taken apart to clean before using, just to be safe. shipped insured . We’re still not completely sure that the Mercedes Concept Style Coupe – which is due to be revealed at an event in Los Angeles later in April – will arrive as the Mercedes CLC, but it seems likely. What also seems likely is that it will go down a storm, especially if the photo above (leaked on a Croatian site) is the real deal – it looks stunning.
NHTSA opens investigation into Ford Taurus throttle issue
Tue, 13 Mar 2012The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched a preliminary investigation into claims of the throttle sticking open on the Ford Taurus from the 2005-06 model years. NHSTA says there are 14 claims of a stuck throttle in the Taurus, possibly because of the cruise-control cable becoming detached. No injuries have been reported.
Jaguar Land Rover: Tata to double annual investment to £1.5 billion
Wed, 22 Feb 2012Tata to double investment in JLR Tata Motors has revealed that it plans to double annual investment in Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) to £1.5 billion. Just last week we reported that Tata Motors’ profits in the last quarter had been driven very much by the resurgence at Jaguar Land Rover, with JLR profits soaring while Tata Motors domestic profits declined. And it looks like Tata are keen to keep that momentum going with the announcement that they are to double annual investment in Jaguar Land Rover to £1.5 billion.
