Hello, selling a totally rebuilt Beautiful set of REAL 289 HIPO heads date codes are 5K2 AND 7B3. One is a C5OE and the other being a Very Rare C7ZE. These both have the same chamber sizes. both have a #21. These both are in very nice condition, no repairs,no cracks, no welds,and the pushrod guide holes have no damage. these both have been rebuilt as a set. New oversize valves serfaced and are both ported on the exhaust side about an inch inward from the exhaust opening, and on the intake ports an inch inward lightly. intake or exhaust valves look to be stainless in believe. I took them apart and stripped the paint job that was done and reasembled them for shipping, buyer should have them taken apart to clean before using, just to be safe. shipped insured . Craig Breedlove, the land-speed racer who set records at over 400, 500 and 600 mph has a new race car on the drawing boards and is the feature of a couple other projects. We caught up with him recently in Los Angeles. It seems Breedlove always had a car project in the works; most recently, he took the Spirit of America Formula Shell LSRV to almost 700 mph on the Black Rock Desert in 1996.

The Griffith Motorcar Club International will be hosting Richard “Dick” Monnich, the first TVR importer in the United States and the catalyst for the Ford 289-powered TVR Griffith, as part of the fifth-annual Gathering of Griffiths & TVRs. Event organizer and former Griffith factory test driver Mike Mooney claims all three Griffith body styles will be present, along with a British-produced TVR 500.
