Up for your bid is an old water inlet valve thingy that goes to a Ford 302 used on a Glastron boat. Low reserve of only $5 and shipping Flat $10 or pickup free in Central Texas.

Got this off a 1970-71 Ford 302 being used in a Glastron boat. I have no idea of the use or application of this. It is kind of rust and crusty - so I do not know if it can be used or restored or not. It was attached to the inlet of the intake manifold. It has a Balast Resistor attached used with points ignitions. Low reserve of only $5. Please know your application before bidding.

Stretching the tape measure to 7.4m long, it's as long as two regular Transit Tourneo models and has limo-style legroom for seven builders. There are a few more creature comforts than in most Transits, too: captain's armchairs with individual DVD screens and games consoles, and leather trim throughout.

Video: Fiat creates café racer 500 for SEMA

Tue, 30 Oct 2012

Fiat is preparing a café racer-style 500 for this week's SEMA show by stripping down an Abarth version to take it "down to the essence of what you need to drive a car." The café racer philosophy of ‘more speed, less comfort' was born around the 1960s British 'biker scene and while initially focussed on increasing performance, quickly developed into a culture as concered with 'the show' as 'the go'. "It takes something like this to really get noticed at SEMA," says Craig Buoncompago, Project Manager at Fiat Product Design. "The Café Racer is really going to be one special car that you guys should really come and see." The 500's roof has been chopped, while also shorn of its door handles and being fitted with hot rod billet rims.

Mon, 28 Sep 2009

With Fiat-based replacements still at least two years away, the Chrysler Group has delayed plans to kill its slow-selling Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Avenger, sources say. The two sedans were all but left for dead by previous owner Cerberus Capital Management. Now insiders say Chrysler intends to freshen the cars and keep them on the market until late 2012.
