Here is a set of rocker arm assemblies from a '57 Ford 312. The rockers have never been removed from the shafts. The rocker tips were polished in steps from 120g to 600g just enough to create a new flat mating surface for the valve tip. Full set of EGC -6564-B2 rockers. Rocker Ratio 1.54.

School-run squabbles over parking spots are on the increase, with as many as 75% of people taking children to or from school have witnessed aggressive behaviour among those seeking to park. Rumours have persisted almost since the V10 version of the R8 bowed in at Detroit last year that Audi wanted to produce a ‘Superleggera’ version of its supercar. We reported in March that Audi were planning a Spyder version of the V8 but also a lightweight version of the R8 V10. We thought it would be the R8 V10 RS.

Mercedes-Benz has already confirmed that the new 2012 Mercedes A-Class will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and that it’s the five-door A-Class that will hit the road first. Which means Mercedes are out shooting footage for the launch of the A-Class, and a sharp-eyed cyclist has managed to grab a brief bit of footage of the new A-Class on the road to Playa Blanca on Lanzarote as Mercedes went about their work.
