If you are looking to upgrade that old, tired Ford 5.8L 351W in your 1988 to 1993 Bronco or 4x4 pickup this Ford 351W crate engine by Tuff Dawg Engines is the answer. Using a Edelbrock EFI upper and lower intake, and a CompCam computer compatible cam this Ford 5.8L 351W engine will bolt right in place of your old 5.8L 351W engine to wake up your Bronco or pickup and give it more power than it ever has had! This Tuff Dawg high performance engine puts the focus on low and midrange power, exactly where needed most in a 4x4 or pickup. No modifications are needed as your stock computer and fuel system will work with this engine.

The balanced rotating assembly (typically includes crankshaft, pistons, rings, connecting rods, rod bearings, and balancer) featured in this engine:

  • 3.500" crank 
  • 5.956" rods with ARP rod bolts
  • 9 to 1 compression pistons

More special features of this engine include:

  • Seasoned block that has been vatted, magnafluxed for cracks, thermal cleaned and steelabrated, bored, honed and plateau honed to fit new flat top oversized pistons
  • Deck head gasket surface on block to ensure a good long lasting seal
  • New CompCam computer compatible hydraulic flat tappet cam to put the focus on low end and midrange power
  • Cast iron heads have 3-angle valve job
  • Heads have 1.780"Int/1.450"Exh valves
  • Both heads have been resurfaced to ensure a good long lasting seal
  • New Hardened exhaust seats for use with leaded or unleaded fuel
  • New High performance springs set up to match cam
  • New Valve seals

THE NEW Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet has been revealed ahead of its launch at the Los Angeles Motor Show. The model takes a largely familiar format to modals that have gone before it, but this time the German firm is releasing two Turbo models at the same time. It’s particularly appealing if you like a car with a decent turn of speed – the V60 will do 0-62mph in 6.1 seconds – like the reassurance and practicality of 4WD – the V60′s electric motor drives the back wheels – drive in to London on a regular basis – the 48g/km emissions are congestion charge free – and get taxed as BIK from your company. If all those apply – and you already appreciate the Volvo V60 is a very good car to start with – then the V60 plug-in hybrid is a bit of a no-brainer, even with a headline price of nearly £50k (which gets within £6k of an equivalent non plug-in after the taxpayer has chipped in). It seems that many buyers agree, and Volvo is being inundated with orders.
