This a new set of 3 billet steel main cap w/register and 4 straight holes for use in 1969-1997 Ford Windsor eninges.

ADEPT billet steel main bearing caps are CNC machined from low carbon 1045 billet steel.

These main caps provide increase stability to the entire crankshaft rotating assembly and augment the strength and durability of high HP engines.

Bolts are not included.

IMPORTANT: MAIN CAPS MUST BE ALIGN-HONED WITH BLOCK PRIOR TO USE.

Daimler and Renault-Nissan strike a global partnership

Daimler today struck a wide-ranging partnership with the Renault-Nissan alliance, in a deal that will usher in new jointly developed cars, shared technologies and a multitude of cost savings.  Cars such as the new 2014 Smart Fortwo will now be twinned with the next Renault Twingo, while the Forfour is set for a comeback and we can expect plenty of shared combustion engines and electric motors, borrowed platforms and jointly developed SUV tech across all three parties. And that's only scratching the surface of the possibilities opened up by this wide-ranging deal.

Diesel and hybrid sales up for 2012

When gasoline prices go up, sales follow—especially sales of diesel and hybrid cars. Diesel sales have risen a whopping 35 percent in the first quarter of 2012, according to data compiled by www.hyrbidcars.com and Baum and Associates. A total of 28,260 oil burners changed hands.
