This auction is for an original Ford and Mercury Thermal Vacuum Switch part #  D0AE-A for 1970 and later 390 GT and 428 CJ  Boss 302 and 429 CJ applications.It is in good condition, though not perfect. It has a very legible part # ,nice brass nut, and has been media cleaned and cleared to seal it. It does have some mild erosion where the casting meets the brass, and the top port is dented a little. It could be used in Shelby Fairlane Cougar Torino Mustang Ranchero and others..

The retirement of seasoned Chrysler designer Trevor Creed has opened the doors for Ralph Gilles, who has been appointed Vice President of Design starting September 1 this year. In his new position, Gilles will be responsible for all activities of Chrysler's Product Design Office and will report to Frank O. Klegon, Executive Vice President of Product Development.

It’s called the Ford Shelby GT500KR, in homage to the 1968 original, and just 1000 Coupes go on sale in spring 2008. KR means King of the Road, a name GM had intended to use until Shelby got wind of it and grabbed the crown first.

The latest Audi e-tron - the Audi A1 e-tron Early yesterday we reported that Audi were to bring the third iteration of their e-tron concepts to the Geneva Motor Show – the Audi A1 e-tron. Which makes a lot more sense than trying to make an electric car in to some sort of niche electric supercar, which seemed to be Audi’s aim with the R8 e-tron and the R4 e-tron. Small, urban cars are the only really practical place for an electric car to flourish, and the Audi A1 is a very sensible place to be with the e-tron project.
