You are looking at a very RARE Vintage FE Ford 427 428 Shelby Cobra Oil Pan. This oil pan appears to be an Aviaid type of pan as you would find in an AC 427 Cobra from back in the day. This is a VINTAGE OLD SKOOL Racing Oil Pan for a Ford FE 427. It is in GREAT shape and comes complete with it's original pick up and windage tray. This pan looks to be some sort of Road Race or Drag Race pan with it's extra baffling and side sump with oil control doors inside. It incorporates the windage tray along with the internal baffling for maximum oil control. This keeps the oil in the pan and in the oiling system and minimizing any oil starvation or power loss from extra oil sloshing against the crank throws at high RPM. This pan was has been on the Shelf nearly 40 years needs to find its way back on a hot 427 again. This is a Vintage 60's-70's piece and appears to be an Aviaid design pan; but you 427 FE performance expert can be the judge on this one. You don't see Vintage Oil pans like this one very often and when you do they usually have a window or 2 in them from a wayward connecting rod making a hasty exit. Making one in this shape increasingly difficult to come by, making this piece a real FIND today!! Subaru launches production of BRZ, Scion FR-S coupes in Japan
Fri, 16 Mar 2012Subaru on Friday officially launched production of the rear-drive BRZ sports coupe in its Gunma Main Plant factory in Japan. The plant also builds the Toyota version--which will be sold as the Scion FR-S in the United States--as the Toyota 86 in Japan and as the Toyota GT-86 in Europe. We expect the Subaru BRZ and the Scion FR-S to be in U.S.
