Ford 427 bird fender emblem Fairlane Galaxie Thunderbolt C3AZ-16228-D. A perfect reproduction of the famous 427 emblems Ford used in a variety of mid-60’s applications. These new emblems feature the correct real gold plating and satin black background finish, and are die cast in a high quality zinc alloy just like the originals .The detail on these emblems is exquisite.


The 427 “bird emblem” was used on the front fenders of the 427 cubic inch 1963-1964 Galaxies ,1964 Fairlane Thunderbolts, 66-67 Fairlane R-codes and was the emblem Ford used on its factory dual 4V oval 427 air cleaners. The original part number was C3AZ-16228-D . These are so nice it is suggested to buy them in pairs or a matching set .
