429-460 FORD HEADS
CLOSED CHAMBER WITH COBRA JET VALVES

This is a rebuilt set of cast iron 75cc as cast "closed chamber" heads for a 429-460 etc.

These heads are complete and feature:

Labor:

• Heads have been vatted, glassbeaded/steelabrated, magnafluxed to check for cracks, and all bolt holes tapped
• 3-angle valve job for 2.245"Int/1.744"Exh Cobra Jet valve size
• Install hardened exhaust seats for use with leaded or unleaded fuel
• Blend bowls for 2.245"Int/1.744"Exh stainless valves
• Both heads resurfaced to ensure a good head gasket sealing surface
• Rocker bosses machined for screw-in rocker studs with guide plates (studs and guide plates not included)
• Drill/ream and install all new guides
• Set up High Performance 1.440" springs to handle up to .600" valve lift
• Use with adjustable stamped steel or roller rockers
• Deburr bump in exhaust port
• You MUST check valve to piston clearance before installing heads

Parts:

• New stainless 2.245"Int/1.744"Exh valves with undercut stems to increase flow
• New Valve guides machined to clear high lift cam
• New 1.440" valve springs with Chromoly retainers setup to be used with up to .600" valve lift
• High temperature positive valve seals
• Hardened valve keepers
• Hardened exhaust valve seats for use with leaded or unleaded fuels
