More leftover parts from my latest adventure in modern living today folks.

I have an original Ford lower plenum from my 1999 F250 Super Duty, originally

equipped with a 5.4, I have been told however that this plenum can also be used

on the 4.6 liter as well, please do your own research on this one. This is the

lower plenum from the two piece composite aluminum/plastic manifold as used

from 1997- 1999 on many of the 5.4 liter truck engines. This plenum is the one

that had the manifold runner control valve, the IRMC that was used at that time

to make horsepower and torque come in at different RPM to haul heavy loads

and still pass emissions. That valve is not included, only the parts you see.

The Ford Engineering Part number is: F65E-9K461-CA

The gasket set is also for the same 5.4 engine; Fel Pro part number MS98007T.

This is the best quality gasket system available for these engines and I am starting

the bidding on this set up at less than you can buy the gaskets alone for at your

local car parts store. I have not opened them.

Again, this system may fit your car, I do not know, research it based on the Ford

part number and let me know you want it all with your bids.

Shipping is at the buyers expense, the package size is: 9X9X25

And the weight is about 10 lbs.

Any questions please ask.

Thank You for your time, hope this will make someones day.

More like new leftovers to come, and a few already listed

American icon, reborn: the 1967 Shelby GT500CR Continuation Car (2010): first official pictures

Thu, 18 Mar 2010

We all have fantasies about meeting long dead heroes, dreams like seeing the Beatles play onstage, going dirt bike riding with Steve McQueen, or talking politics with JFK. Until they improve cloning technology, we won't be heading out to the desert with Steve, but there is one legend that is reborn and ready to ride. An Oklahoma based custom coachbuilder called Classic Recreations announced at the auto-industry love-fest called SEMA last November that they had struck a deal with Shelby American to put one of the most famous Ford muscle cars ever built back into production - the 1967 Shelby GT500.

Grab a ‘VAT Free’ Skoda Octavia

Sat, 29 Nov 2008

In yet another ‘Sign of the times’ Skoda has announced that they are now offering ‘VAT Free Octavias’ until the end of the year. No, this is not a tie-up between Alistair Darling and VW, it’s just Skoda’s way of offering a headline price decrease of a bit over 13% (less expensive to Skoda than last week for the same headline, to be fair, and there is a new model due in January!). Grab a VAT free Skoda Octavia I’m pretty sure that there will be a raft of these ‘VAT Free’ offers floating around on everything from cars to washing machines, capitalising on the fact the VAT is in the headlines.

Subaru Impreza Diesel delayed for UK

Wed, 24 Dec 2008

Update 2/9/09: Finally, Subaru has announced that the Subaru Impreza Diesel will be coming to the UK, starting at £20,000 OTD for the 2.0D RC. It does get difficult when markets go mad, and currencies fall out of the normal range of values, for none more than the big car manufacturers whose products are sold around the world. The Japanese are really struggling with this at the moment, as the Yen has remained strong in relation to many western currencies, in particular the Pound.
