Aston Martin Vanquish Ultimate Edition (2007) : first official pictures

Wed, 14 Feb 2007

By Jack Carfrae First Official Pictures 14 February 2007 11:07 Aston Martin Vanquish S Ultimate Edition: the lowdown After six years as Aston Martin’s flagship, the Vanquish S is bowing out gracefully with a final limited edition. Audi A1 1.6 TDI nips below 100g/km Co2

Tue, 21 Jun 2011

Audi A1 1.6 TDI - beat the congestion charge It’s of no use whatsoever for anything that actually matters, but getting below 100g/km Co2 is a big marketing deal for any car maker. Which is why Audi has been busy tweaking the Audi A1 1.6 TDI. Since launch, the A1 1.6 TDI has been churning out 105g/km which, although it’s all of tuppence a week, gets charged VED simply because the government has decreed Co2 to be the measure of a car’s frugality (it’s not).

The BMW M5 is back!

Mon, 04 Apr 2011

BMW's M division has gone back to the drawing board with the M5, giving the fifth generation of the iconic four-door a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine—the first time Munich's class-defining performance sedan has gone without a naturally aspirated powerplant since its introduction in 1984. Further changes see it adopt a dual-clutch gearbox as part of a complete driveline rethink that resigns the old model's sequential manual transmission to the history books. Revealed here officially for the first time, the new M5 is planned to make its world debut in concept-car guise at the Shanghai motor show later this month.
