This replaces the old original aluminum one. This was bought new in 1980 and used for 1 year before the boat was left stored for 33 years. Manifold has been glass blasted, cleaned internally in the seawater passages, and painted. All bolt holes are cleanly tapped and new bolts are supplied. This may also fit the Ford 250 engine if used in marine applications. The rest of the engine conversion parts are available such as transmission, front and rear engine mount, flywheel, transmission adaptor, seawater pump, flywheel pulley-the whole conversion kit. This is available and will be sold separately upon agreed price. This auction is for this manifold only. This manifold was made by the Lehman manufacturing company in Linden New Jersey. Casting number is 504. There are no cracks in the cast-see blasted pics. Elbow is older but still has plenty of life in it. This may be the only one in existence after searching and finding none available since 1982. This will be shipped locally UPS with tracking. International shipping will be 30.00 dollars higher than posted for secure wood crating and padding. One bolt hole in the lower corner has an ear partially missing but still holds a bolt with washer properly. OFFERS CONSIDERED>

De Tomaso seems fated to lurch from one financial crisis to another – as it has throughout its history – with the latest efforts by former Fiat executive Gian Mario Rossignolo to revive the marque floundering for investment. And it looks like Rossignolo has given up the fight and sold out to unnamed investors.

Jaguar Crossover could be the Q-Type or XQ

Sun, 05 May 2013

The fastest growing segment in the car market is the Crossover / SUV, especially the more compact crossovers. So if Jaguar are going to compete in the big league they’re going to have to tap in to Land Rover’s expertise at some point and come up with their own Crossover (NOT a Jaguar SUV, as Ian Callum made clear). That could perhaps be getting closer with the news that Jaguar has registered both the Q-Type and XQ monikers after Pistonheads played Sherlock and dug the details out from the bowels of the European Union trademark database.
