Citroën has revealed its new Cactus concept, designed to preview the future of the carmaker's C-line. The Cactus concept is the result of a program that began with the debut of the C-Cactus concept at the 2007 Frankfurt motor show. The C-Cactus was designed to find out what motorists expect from cars and which equipment and features are considered the most important.

Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Concept

This is the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Concept – a Porsche Panamara Shooting Brake Hybrid – headed for a Paris 2012 debut. There have been rumours for some time that Porsche was going to build a shooting brake version of the Panamera -we reported it would be at Paris 2012 back in July – and on the eve of the Paris Motor Show we get the proof – the first photos of the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Concept. The Panamera Sport looks like it’s got some sort of hybrid powertrain, although we have no details yet from Porsche.

Subaru XV gets world’s first self-cleaning function (+ video)

Subaru UK has revealed that the Subaru XV Crossover can now be specified with the world’s first self-cleaning function for a car. It’s a decent effort from Subaru, with added credibility as a compact urban warrior coming from Subaru’s 4WD prowess, a choice of a couple of petrol engines and a couple of diesels, manual or auto options and prices from £21k to £30k. But in a crowded market place it’s good to have a USP, so Subaru has pushed the boat out and is offering a world first for the Subaru XV – a self-cleaning function.
