Up for bid is an OEM Ford -- Windshield Wiper//Washer Fluid Reservoir Tank - jug, container....whatever you want to call it. It fits the 1983 thru 94 Ford F250 & F350 Trucks equipped with the 6.9L IDI (83 thru 87) and//or 7.3L IDI (88 thru 94) diesel engines. This is the OEM Washer Fluid Reservoir. Removed from an 94 F350.
----- Overall the reservoir is in very good shape. Does Not Leak. No cracks, splits, repaired spots, or big gouges.
Both mounting tabs are intact and the hose port on the bottom of the tank is 100% intact. Lid fits tight and plastic band that holds it into the tank is intact. If you hold the tank up to the light you can see old fluid stains in the plastic but the inside of the tank is clean and not all nasty. No wiper motor. You will have to supply one. Study the Pics Closely...What you see is what you get. A nice OEM piece you don't find on Ebay too often.
Ford used the same basic tank from 1983 thru 1994 on both
series of IDI motors. I know some of the older 6.9L trucks used a tank
that looks the same but is actually about 1/5th smaller and has a smaller hose port on the tank's bottom. This is the
larger tank listed. Should interchange, No guarantee it will...thats you're job to verify that.

Mon, 07 Apr 2008As one judge, Geert Jan Schellekens, Principal Automotive and Industrial Designer at SABIC Innovative Plastics, said; "From several hundred entries to 20 finalists in a day's time - what could have turned out to be a cumbersome process, if not a bureaucratic nightmare, actually became an intensive yet fun session with many intriguing and interesting interpretations of the contest brief - fuelling some lively discussions!" Another strong impression from judges was also of the variety of design entry and the effort that had been put into them, as Dale Harrow said: "I'm very impressed with the standard, and particularly with the diversity of entries to the contest". Derek Buckmaster,Global Market Director, Body Panels & Glazing for SABIC Innovative Plastics, said: "I was surprised by the depth of thought which the entrants had put into their designs to meet the diverse needs of the three 'milenniumites' described in the design brief. The designs displayed numerous approaches to meeting the environmentally-friendly and light-weight goals." All designs were considered relative to the Assessment Criteria a critically important part of the contest, created to ensure as much fairness in the process as possible and detailed in the Contest part of Car Design News.

SPD starts collaboration with VW Group Design on Masters program
Thu, 05 Aug 2010Scuola Politecnica di Design (SPD) and Volkswagen Group Design are starting a new five year collaboration program focused on the development of experimental mobility projects for Lamborghini, Audi and Volkswagen. The Milan, Italy-based university is offering eight scholarships to participate to the one year Master Program in Car and Transportation Design, which will take place from 21 October 2010 to October 2011. The university is currently accepting applications from students and professionals from all over the world, with the aim of providing training with the protagonists of automotive design.
