Ford.60,61,62,63,64 Falcon,comet.oem Clutch & Brake Pedal Set. on 2040-parts.com
Cleveland, Ohio, United States
FREE U.S.A. SHIPPING!!! YOU ARE BIDDING ON A NEWLY RECONDITIONED ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT CLUTCH AND BRAKE PEDAL SET FROM A 1964 FALCON SPRINT. THESE PEDALS WILL FIT ALL 1960,61,62,63,64 FALCON AND COMET 6 CYLINDER, V8, 2 DOOR, 4 DOOR, STATION WAGON, CONVERTABLE, AND RANCHERO MODELS. UNLIKE SOME SELLERS, I DO NOT USE GENERIC OR "FILE" PHOTOS IN MY LISTINGS. THE ITEM PICTURED IS THE ACTUAL ITEM YOU ARE BIDDING ON. I SEE A LOT OF LISTINGS SHOWING THE SAME PEDALS FITTING 60 THRU 65 FALCON AND COMET. ALTHOUGH THEY WILL BOLT IN, THESE PEDALS WILL NOT WORK ON THE 65 FALCON AND COMET CARS. IN 65 FORD MOVED THE STOP LIGHT SWITCH FROM THE MASTER CYLINDER TO THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE PIN ON THE BRAKE PEDAL FOR THE MASTER CYLINDER ROD WAS LENGTHENED FROM 1/2" TO 1" TO ACCOMODATE THE SWITCH. AS THE PICTURES SHOW, THIS SET HAS THE SHORT PIN USED ON THE PRE 65 CARS. THE PEDALS ARE IN GOOD CONDITION. NO WELDS OR REPAIRS. NO WEAR ON THE CLUTCH PEDAL PIVOT SHAFT, OR ON THE PIN FOR THE CLUTCH ROD. THE SET HAS BEEN COMPLETELY DISASSEMBLED, BEAD BLASTED, REFINISHED IN LOW GLOSS BLACK, LUBED, AND REASSEMBLED WITH NEW AFTERMARKET PEDAL PADS, READY TO INSTALL. I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS LONG ENOUGH TO HAVE DONE SIDE BY SIDE COMPARISONS OF MUSTANG, FALCON, AND FAIRLANE PEDALS. IN SPITE OF WHAT YOU READ IN OTHER SELLERS LISTINGS, THEY ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE! THESE 50+ YEAR OLD PARTS ARE GETTING HARDER TO FIND. THERE ARE A LOT OF WORN OUT, RUSTY USED SETS OUT THERE, OR INCOMPLETE SETS THAT HAVE BEEN COBBLED TOGETHER FROM DIFFERENT MODELS CLAIMING TO FIT MORE CARS THAN THEY REALLY WILL. OR SETS THAT HAVE BEEN RATTLE CAN RESTORED OVER THE RUST AND DIRT TO LOOK GOOD IN THE PICTURE, OR BLASTED AND PAINTED AS A UNIT WITHOUT BEING TAKEN APART. DON'T BE AFRAID TO ASK SPECIFIC QUESTIONS ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THE PARTS BEFORE YOU BID, EVEN IF THE PARTS ARE DESCRIBED AS GOOD. DON'T WAIT UNTIL THEY ARRIVE ONLY TO DISCOVER THAT THEY ARE NOT AS ADVERTISED. I'VE BEEN DOING THIS FOR AWHILE. MY DESCRIPTIONS ARE ACCURATE. MY PEDALS FIT THE CARS AND YEARS THEY ARE ADVERTISED TO FIT, GUARANTEED. ALWAYS CHECK THE FEEDBACK OF ANY SELLER BEFORE YOU BID. THAT WILL TELL YOU WHO YOU CAN TRUST. PLEASE VIEW MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE QUALITY VINTAGE FORD AND MERCURY PARTS. I ACCEPT PAY PAL AND POSTAL M/O AS PAYMENT FOR MY ITEMS. I DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. THANKS FOR LOOKING. |

Fuel duty freeze is 'no give-away'
Wed, 02 Oct 2013MOTORING GROUPS have given a cautious welcome to Chancellor George Osborne's announcement of a freeze on fuel duty until May 2015. But Transport Secretary Patrick McLoughlin's insistence on the value of HS2 to the UK cut little ice with opponents of the high-speed rail scheme. On fuel duty, both the AA and the RAC pointed out that Mr Osborne was already getting big sums from motorists in taxation.
