YOU ARE BIDDING ON A RARE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUAL SHIFT BRAKE PEDAL FOR A 1964 1/2 MUSTANG. THIS PEDAL IS FROM AN EARLY GENERATOR CAR WITH THE STOP LIGHT SWITCH ON THE MASTER CYLINDER RATHER THAN ON THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE EQUALLY HARD TO FIND MASTER CYLINDER PUSHROD IS ALSO PRESENT AND INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION. 

THE PEDAL IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. NO RUST PITTING OR CORROSION. THE ORIGINAL PEDAL PAD AND RUBBER BUMPER SHOW SOME WEAR, BUT ARE STILL VERY USEABLE. THE PEDAL HAS BEEN BEAD BLASTED AND REFINISHED IN LOW GLOSS BLACK, READY TO INSTALL.

His father Roger bought it in 1982 but sold it in the mid-'90s; six years ago, Casey was able to bring it back into the Mears fold. His daughter is 5, the same age Mears was when he was able to reach the pedals.
