Cal Tracs Traction Bars

Based on popular demand we are now stocking The most killer traction bars made for your application. These are built in the USA and are designed with tremendous benefits that can be realized when this traction bar system is installed on your leaf spring suspended automobile. These traction bars were developed to achieve specific goals to improve high power traction while staying within the hard det NHRA parameter. The Combination of the components shown in the illustrations changes the pushing point of the car by redirecting the turning action (spring wrap up) of the rear axle through the Force Transfer Link into the Front Pivot. The Front Pivot spring stop resists this turning motion and also controls the bending of the leaf spring at its thinnest section. The push into the Front Pivot helps the cars weight shift towards the rear of the car because of the new directed angle of force toward the front of the vehicle (the "Instant Center" moves farther forward). This is where the system emulates a four link system. The pinion angle is also maintained.

Kit Features:

  • Complete bolt-on, no cutting, welding, or modifications to OEM suspension.
  • Keeps axle from rotating, helping maintain pinion angle
  • Improves 60ft times.
  • Full preload adjustability.
  • Eliminates spring wrap-up.
  • Powder coated gloss black finish.
  • Full color Installation Guide.
***3rd Member not included, kit works with shocks in the factory location***

BMW 1 Series M Coupe UK video

Mon, 16 May 2011

BMW 1-Series M Coupe - arriving in the UK this month Will BMW build a 1 series M car, we all wondered? And if they did, would it be the BMW M1. Surely not, we all concluded.

BMW M5 2011 (F10) at Nurburgring +video

Fri, 09 Oct 2009

The 2011 BMW M5 caught on video near the Nurburgring Wonderful power plant though the V10 is, in these economy and emissions conscience times it is a pragmatic move by BMW to use the 4.4 litre V8 already seen in the X5M and X6M in the next generation M5. It seems almost certain if you watch this video – especially at around 3:15 where you can hear the turbos quite clearly – that forced induction is the route BMW are taking. But it seems likely that the M5 will get a few more horses than others in the BMW range using the same powerplant.

Skoda Yeti UK Prices

Sat, 18 Jul 2009

Skoda has released UK prices and specifications for the Yeti The Skoda Yeti is a much better bet than the recently announced Skoda Fabia Scout – a butched-up Estate with two wheel drive – as it is the real deal, with proper four-wheel drive and the ability to actually do at least a decent amount of soft-roading and, in all probability, make a decent fist of some rougher stuff too. Admittedly, to keep headline prices low, there are two-wheel drive versions too, and these are the bargain priced ones – starting from £13,750 – but you”ll have to pay a fair chunk more to get a full 4×4 – prices on the Skoda Yeti 4×4 start at £17,170 for the 2.0 litre TDi Yeti S. Even the entry-level Yeti E comes with Aircon and remote locking, and the extras add up as you go through the range.
