We have here a T68P-4946-A shim template tool as listed in the Ford vehicle manuals for the 9" Traction-Lok POSI or limited slip differential unit. This tool is used to set or check the shim pack dimension for the Ford 9 inch diff so as to have correct LSD operation. Using this tool will tell you what size shim you will need to set the clutch pack. I will include a copy of the paperwork required to use the tool. Achim Badstuebner, Audi's head of exterior design, says the maker of sports and luxury cars is always focusing on small things--such as door handles, the C-pillars and its familiar five-spoke wheels--for design demeanor.
