Mercedes GLA baby SUV revealed ahead of Frankfurt
Wed, 14 Aug 2013Meet the latest edition to the small Mercedes family – the Mercedes-Benz GLA, a compact ‘crossover’ SUV. The GLA is aiming to take on existing premium rivals such as the BMW X1 and Audi Q3, and may even take a chunk out of the Range Rover Evoque if it gets the opportunity. This new baby Mercedes will make its world debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
Hyundai plans bigger V8 for Genesis, Equus
Fri, 25 Jun 2010When the Hyundai Equus luxury sedan goes on sale this fall, it will be powered by the 4.6-liter Tau V8 from the Genesis sedan. But at an unspecified later date, both the Equus and Genesis sedans will get a new 5.0-liter version of the Tau engine making 429 hp and 376 lb-ft of torque. Hyundai also is working on all-wheel drive for its rear-wheel-drive cars, which is to say the Genesis and Equus, which ride on different versions of the same platform.

Thu, 08 Oct 2009The Chevrolet Camaro convertible is alive and well, and car dealers got a sneak peak at the new drop-top this week. Chevy vice president Brent Dewar said the company is still ironing out the timing for the launch of the open-air sports car. It's been reported that the car will go into production in early 2011.
