Ford OEM Alternator This is a used but in great shape Ford Alternator with single v-groove pulley for older model Fords. this came out of a 1967 ford Fairlane Ranchero with a 390 but will fit many other engines. It had a good charging output when taken of the car (I upgraded to a high polished chrome unit). |

It's to accompany a feature in the new June 2010 issue of CAR, out this week and you can hear the bread rolls being thrown as we argue over the fastest cars to grace our pages this year. The cover story is The Supercar World Cup, as we travel around the world in our endeavour to anoint the year's greatest supercar: the ones that get us drooling, set our pulses racing and make us buy an extra lottery ticket, just in case.
Autonomous emergency braking mandatory in Europe by 2014
Tue, 07 Aug 2012Autonomous emergency braking (AEB) is set to become mandatory as a result of new European regulations. From 2014 Euro NCAP – the organization responsible for conducting independent assessment of vehicle safety performance – will amend its reports and no car will gain a five-star rating without AEB. It's hoped an increased use of the system will cut down on front-end impacts as well as pedestrian injuries.
