THIS IS A NEW FORD C-4 TRANSMISSION FILTER SERVICE KIT. THIS KIT INCLUDES A NEW FLAT FILTER TO BE USED WITH THE SHALLOW PAN AND COMES WITH  A NEW FARPAK (FIBER) PAN GASKET. THIS FILTER WILL NOT WORK WITH A DEEP STYLE PAN OR BRONCO 4X4 APPLICATIONS. FORD USED A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT DESIGN C-4 FILTERS OVER THE YEARS. DO NOT SOLELY GO BY YEAR MODEL WHEN CHOOSING WHICH C-4 FILTER TO PURCHASE AS THESE TRANSMISSIONS AND THEIR COMPONENTS ARE VERY INTERCHANGABLE. PLEASE VERIFY YOUR FILTER APPLICATION PRIOR TO MAKING THIS PURCHASE!!
