Honda CR-V 1.6i-DTEC does 77.86 mpg in the ‘Real World’

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

The Honda CR-V 1.6i-DTEC (pictured) does 77.86 mpg in the ‘Real World’ Official car economy figures are pretty useless at being anything other than a guide to the relative economy of cars on sale. But Honda are trying to prove that’s not true. -- South Korea's automotive legacy may not be as rich as, say, Czechoslovakia's, but don't tell collector Baek Joong-gil that. Not to his face, anyway. He might be behind the wheel of one of his five hundred cars, which includes such rarities as the Kia T-600 (Kia's first car, built under license from Mazda in 1963); the Cadillac Fleetwood of former president Park Chung-hee; and Korea's oldest fire truck.

Salon Privé 2012 Preview

Salon Privé 2012 Preview - Jay Kay and the Bagleys Salon Privé, the UK equivalent of Pebble Beach and Villa d’Este, moves to September this year and promises lots of interesting car goodness. Salon Privé - that car show in London that your other half will enjoy – has the same problem as almost every other event in London 2012 – there’s too much going on. What with the 2012 Olympics and the Diamond Jubilee there’s not much space left in the London ‘Season’ so Salon Privé has been moved to the back end and will run from September 5-7th.
