C6 automatic transmission from a 1987 or 88 Ford F250.  Transmission condition is unknown as it came with a truck I purchased but I do not need it and it is just taking up space.  Transmission looks complete including pump, shift lever and vacuum modulator.  No dipstick is included.  This transmission housing will only fit the 6.9/7.3 IDI diesels.  The bell housing is cast in and will not fit gas engines.

Shipping is not offered as the transmission is very heavy.  If you are somewhat local please contact me and we can discuss delivery/meeting up.

Dolley cart is not included in the sale.

Drayson Racing set new electric car speed record

Wed, 26 Jun 2013

Lord Paul Drayson (pictured) celebrating a new electric car land speed record Last month we reported that Lord Paul Drayson’s Drayson Racing were plotting an attack on the world land speed record for an electric car. And they’ve cracked it. In a two-way run at Elvington, Yorkshire, Lord Paul Drayson – Drayson Racing’s CEO and former science minister – was behind the wheel of the Drayson B12 69/EV as it completed two mile long runs in the space of an hour to record an average – and new World Record (for its class) – of 204.185mph.

Volkswagen Bulli (2011) at 2011 Geneva motor show

Mon, 28 Feb 2011

This is the new VW Bulli, a small electric MPV unveiled on the eve of the 2011 Geneva motor show. 'Bulli' was the German name for the 1950's T1, what the US market called the Microbus, and the new Bulli concept is an evolution of the lovely Microbus concept revealed in 2001. The new concept is smaller than Microbus concept and has an EV powerplant.

Need to report a POTHOLE? Government-backed App makes it easy

Need to report a POTHOLE? Government-backed App makes it easy There can’t be many motorists in the UK who haven’t fallen foul of our pitted and potholed roads (one of the Cars UK team had a £1500 suspension re-build bill last year), so anything we can do to point out what needs doing is a bonus. So the news that the government is backing an App to report potholes in the UK to the tune of £30,000 is good news (assuming the reported potholes get acted on).
