Although relating closely to its hatchback European sibling, the US market Civic is available as a four door sedan or two door coupe - underscoring the principal difference in market preference between Europe and America for this size of car. Specification The Si Coupe is available from launch with the 2.0 liter, 197bhp VTEC engine, whilst the sedan and standard coupe have a 1.8 liter, 140 bhp VTEC engine.
Honda To Debut Sporty Concepts At Festival Of Speed
Wed, 21 May 2014VISITORS to this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed in June will be able to get up close and personal with two racy concept cars from Honda. The Japanese firm is using the popular event to showcase its forthcoming Civic Type R hot hatch and second-generation NSX supercar ahead of a 2015 launch programme. As well as getting up close with the new concepts, visitors will get the chance to race them – with the Honda stand turned into a miniature race track for budding drivers to compete with special-edition remote control models.
