Jaguar is expanding the XF range for the 2010 model year with the addition of the high-performance XFR which has been unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show Lurking under the hood is a supercharged version of Jaguar's new 5.0-liter direct-injection V8. For the XFR, this engine is rated at 510 hp and 461 pounds-feet of torque. That power is routed through a six-speed automatic transmission.

No, this Ghost is an extended wheelbase Ghost – the Rolls Royce Ghost EWB. When we reported back in December that the LWB Ghost was getting close – and the Ghost DHC and Ghost Coupe, for that matter – we’d half expected Rolls Royce might get a shake on and take the Ghost EWB to Geneva.

Audi has built a lightweight A5 with aluminium body. Audi has taken a standard existing steel-bodied production car as its basis and utilised Audi’s Aluminium Space Frame which reduces the weight of the car body by at least 40% compared to a conventional steel bodied car. The result on the A5 is a drop in weight of 240 lbs (not quite the complete aluminium future Jaguar are working towards).
