Belgian Grand Prix (2012) RESULT
Sun, 02 Sep 2012With a resurgent Jenson Button on pole for the Belgian Grand Prix, will Spa see McLaren back in charge? Jenson Button and his McLaren were in perfect harmony in qualifying for the 2012 Belgian Grand Prix at Spa with button claiming his first pole for McLaren, and his first in three years. That promise looked good as Button left the line cleanly ahead of the pack, but then behind him there was carnage as Grosjean in the Lotus moved across straight in to the side of Hamilton, also taking out Alonso, Kobayashi and Perez, and forcing a restart to the race.
Lincoln is promised a unique line
Mon, 17 Jan 2011Lincoln vehicles will be dramatically different from Ford brand products, Ford Motor Co. executives said last week. "The strategy isn't just new products, but full differentiation from the Ford brand in not only design but in technology," Derrick Kuzak, Ford's group vice president of global product development, told a group of auto analysts at the Detroit auto show.
New Nissan Note production starts in Sunderland
Mon, 16 Sep 2013The New Nissan Note goes in to production The new Nissan Note arrived at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and has turned in to a proper compact hatch – with plenty of kerbside appeal – instead of the rather bland small MPV it used to be. With better looks, some nice styling detail and lots of technology on offer – like Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Departure Warning and Moving Object Detection, the new Note looks set to have much more impact when it arrive’s in Nissan’s showrooms than the old Note ever did. That point of view is given extra credence by the 14,000 orders Nissan has received for the new Note in Europe since it went on sale in July, and now the first Notes are ready to start rolling off the production line at Nissan’s plant in Sunderland.
