As has become the norm, we have photos of the 2013 SEAT Leon leaked out well ahead of its public debut at the Paris Motor Show in September and before SEAT has had a chance to delight us all directly. A very toned down version of the SEAT IBE Concept we saw at Geneva in 2010 and based on the VW group MQB platform that underpins the new VW Golf and Audi A3, the new SEAT Leon is the third generation of SEAT’s take on the Golf.

The Infiniti Essence Concept kicked off this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance This year’s event at Pebble Beach has kicked off with a gala dinner and the US debut of the Infiniti Essence Concept that we saw recently at the Geneva Motor Show. Much bigger than you would expect from a Japanese Coupe, the Infiniti Essence is over 15 feet long and features a 3.7 litre V6 turbo coupled with am electric motor, designed to give a whopping 590bhp. The interior of the Essence is much more Japanese than the outside.

By Phil McNamara First Official Pictures 20 November 2013 10:00 Ford will take on the Nissan X-Trail, Volvo XC60 and Korea’s big SUVs with the second-generation Edge, which is coming to Europe around 2015. Unveiled today (20 November) in concept form, the Edge will sit above the baby EcoSport and mid-size Kuga and complete Ford’s European SUV line-up. The concept has a couple of high-tech tricks up its tailpipe: the Edge can park itself without anyone in the driving seat, and steer around obstacles if you’re bearing down on an obstruction.
