New Ignition Lock cylinder with Keys & Key-chain.

• Tired of having to wiggle your keys to get them to work?  It's time replace it with a new lock! Over time your locks wear out and your keys stop working.

• This lock comes with regular keys. If you need an Ignition Lock with Transponders keys, please check our other listings.

• This is a new lock from the same company that made locks for Ford Motor Co.  This is not a knock-off from China.

Some Ford models were transponder equipped.  Some it was an option and some it was standard equipment.  If you have the transponder version - you will need to have the lock "Coded" to your existing key for the vehicle to start up. We can do that here if you provide the "keycode" to your vehicle at no extra charge (except for shipping back to us if you have already received it) OR you can take it to your local Locksmith to have this done.  They will charge you for this service, it's not free, but it usually does not cost a lot.

Toyota Prius Recall: 5,000 UK cars affected – 242,000 worldwide

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

5,000 2009 Toyota Prius (pictured) are being recalled Toyota has had a bit of a nightmare with recalls in recent years, and the news that they’re now having to recall 242,000 Prius models from 2009 worldwide is another financial, and logistical, problem for Toyota. But in truth, the recalls are about car makers now taking responsibility for faults in their cars which become apparent long after warranties have expired, and that’s no bad thing. The Prius models affected are those built between March 2009 and October 2009 (you can check if your car is affected here) and the UK has 4,947 cars on the road that need to be looked at by Toyota’s dealers.

MINI First introduced

Fri, 17 Jul 2009

MINI has a new budget model - The MINI First With all things Eco the flavour of the month, and with budgets stretched in households everywhere, a cheap, entry-level budget MINI is a tempting prospect. You still get the iconic shape, and you still get a very good chassis – which translates in to good handling and a decent ride – but you’re not paying a fortune for the fripperies. After all, there are MINIs that will set you back £25k (the MINI JCW Cabriolet), but the new MINI First is a very tempting £10,950.

Authorities have recovered a valuable Ford Deuce coupe stolen before the Goodguys car show last weekend in Indianapolis. The 1932 Ford, estimated to be worth $300,000, was taken on Friday from a car hauler in a hotel parking lot, the Indiana State Police said. The car was found in the driveway of a vacant house on the city's southwest side after being spotted by a citizen who tipped off police.
