The new 100hp 1.0-litre variant will launch next year and, at 67.5mpg, become its most fuel-efficient petrol-engined family car ever. Thu, 10 Sep 2009The first picture of the Lamborghini Reventon Roadster ahead of Frankfurt The Reventon Roadster details are still a bit under wraps, but we’re pretty certain it will be powered by the same lump as the LP650-4 Roadster which is currently making its way down Lamborghini’s production line. That will endow the Reventon Roadster with a 0-60mph time of around 3.4 seconds. There is still an outside chance that the Roadster will get the engine from the LP670-4, but that’s a ‘Wait and See’ scenario until Lamborghini coughs up some proper detail.

But in the end they couldn’t resist unveiling the big brother to the Porsche Boxster Spyder (a Speedster in all but name) with a week to go ’til Paris. We’ve been expecting the first 911 Speedster from Porsche in almost a generation since we first reported back in June that we would see the Porsche 911 Speedster rocking in for Paris, along with the 911 GTS.
