2011 Chrysler 300C: Official

Tue, 21 Dec 2010

2011 Chrysler 300C - launches at the 2011 Detroit Motor Show The Chrysler 300C may not be the biggest seller in the UK – although it is loved by chauffeur companies looking for a cheap ‘Limo’ – but it is still a common enough occurrence on British roads for news of a 2011 Chrysler 300C to be of interest to UK as well as US readers. The facelift for the 2011 300C is not the most comprehensive ever seen, but the exterior does get a bit of a workover with a new grille, LEDs and a more rakish windscreen which makes the 300C look a bit less like a ‘box on a box’ in profile. Oh, and Chrysler has stuffed lumps of extra chrome wherever it can, although we doubt if they will make the Euro version.

Ford's Mulally gets warm reception at CES

Fri, 07 Jan 2011

Ford CEO Alan Mulally introduced the Focus electric at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show on Friday in a presentation that was short on details about the car and long on cures for range anxiety. That's partly because Ford is saving details about the car for next week' Detroit auto show, and partly because range anxiety figures to be a major reason for all but the most committed customers to avoid electric vehicles like the Ford Focus electric. Mulally managed to avoid using the term, but said Ford is confronting range anxiety head-on.

Associate Editor Blake Z. Rong: "Where were you when a snail entered the Indy 500?" It's a simple premise, really. "Turbo" is the heartwarming story of a talking snail (Ryan Reynolds) who's obsessed with IndyCar racing, then after traveling to the 101 Freeway and falling into the LA River, he finds himself sucked into the engine of a supercharged Camaro.
