This Auction is for an Engine Stand / Cradle  designed to fit the FORD FE engine family 352 / 360 / 390 / 428 cu inch blocks.   It is fully welded, cleaned & painted. It is made from all new tubing. It is designed to fit with a stock oil pan but may fit others. If you need a cradle for a "deep sump" or "T" type oil pan drop me an email for availability. It features a thick mounting plate and comes with all mounting hardware. Will support the Engine AND Transmission without tipping.  If you would like to add casters to your stand/cradle I offer 2 options you can read about below.  Just a note: If you think you may want to add casters it is cheaper to ship them with the cradle then separate at a later time.  All stands come pre-drilled to accept my casters at a later time though. If you have any questions about shipping and/or payment options email and I will get back with you as soon as possible.

There are two (2) caster options available.

Caster option # 1:   (HD-P)

($40.00)   Heavy  Duty Steel frame casters with Poly wheels.  This option includes 4 HD-P Casters and all mounting hardware. Casters will support up to 400 lbs each. They feature a ½” threaded stud and dual ball bearing race.  These are made to my specs (Stumpys Fab Works)

Caster option # 2:   (HD-PB)

($46.00)  Heavy  Duty Steel frame casters with Poly wheels & brakes. This option includes 2 HD-PB (brake) Casters and 2 HD-P caster and all mounting hardware. Casters will support up to 400 lbs each. They all feature a ½” threaded stud and dual ball bearing race.  The locking casters feature a foot operated brake. These are made to my specs (Stumpys Fab Works)

Casters can also be ordered separate, without the stand/cradle.

Photos reveal the all-new Ford Mustang -- of 1979

Fri, 28 Mar 2014

If you need further proof that everything old is new again, just look at the engine options for the upcoming 2015 Ford Mustang. That optional 2.3-liter turbocharged inline-four is generating a lot of buzz; it's expected to help keep the car sporty while cutting down on fuel consumption, and it's going to help the Mustang make headway in overseas markets. Adding a turbo-four to the pony car equation isn't exactly novel: The Blue Oval put a forced-induction motor with the same cylinder count, configuration and displacement in the 1979 Mustang.

Jaguar XF-R unveiled at Detroit auto show 2009

Sat, 10 Jan 2009

By Tim Pollard Motor Shows 10 January 2009 22:52 Jaguar's XFR is shown today at the Detroit auto show 2009 – and the XFR at a stroke becomes the fastest saloon the Midlands manufacturer has ever made for the roads. Jag has taken the XF saloon and fettled it with the new direct-injection 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine that supersedes the familiar 4.2, but breathed upon by a new supercharger to crank out a wholesome 503bhp.The R model is extremely rapid, thanks to a classic Ayers Rock torque curve that peaks at 461lb ft from just 2000rpm and doesn't go away until 5000rpm. There's brawn wherever you need it, and the XFR scuttles to 60mph in a scant 4.7sec.

Renault spy scandal: Former COO 'had to leave'

Tue, 30 Apr 2013

Patrick Pelata fell on his sword to save his boss and friend -- and maybe his company. Pelata, often called one of the industry's best product strategists, was part of a small team of executives Carlos Ghosn brought to Nissan Motor Co. in 1999 after Renault bought a controlling stake in the Japanese company.
