Toyota FT-CH concept (w/ Video)
Mon, 18 Jan 2010Toyota revealed the FT-CH concept at the 2010 NAIAS. Showcasing a possible future vehicle wearing the Prius badge, the four seat concept was created at ED2, Toyota's European design center in Nice, France. Measuring 3886mm in length, 1740mm wide and 1397mm tall, the FT-CH is 559mm less in overall length and has a wheelbase that is 152mm shorter than that of the Prius, but it is only 13mm narrower.
UK Car Sales up again in October 2012
Wed, 07 Nov 2012New car registrations rose in October by 12.1 per cent in the UK, the ninth month of 2012 to see rising car sales. The European car market may be in a real mess with carnage looming for production facilities run by mainstream car makers, but the UK continues to grow its new car market with sales in October up by 12.1 per cent. Total new car registrations (which includes pre-reg) rose to 151,252 units, the ninth monthly increase of 2012, and the SMMT are now predicting total sales for 2012 of over 2 million, back to 2010 levels after a fall in 2011 to below the 2 million mark.
Ram Black Express goes Darth Vader
Thu, 11 Jul 2013Ram introduced the Ram Black Express on Thursday. The locomotive-sounding name denotes the black on black styling, Hemi engine and a low starting price of $28,050. The Black Express gets an all-black exterior, including the hexagon grille, fascias, bumpers and wheels.
