1951 Mercury complete engine. Removed in running condition in the early 80s. The Monterey coupe was chopped and lead sledded. Engine was described as running fine but getting tired. Should be rebuilt. Always stored inside. This Engine even has the origional air cleaner. Bellhousing and clutch assy still attached. 51 motors have the late style bellhousing and early style narrow pulley water pumps. The only things missing are one of the temp. senders and the oil press. sender. Listed as pickup only. Thanks for looking.

It was 20 years ago today...the Jaguar XJ220 hits 20 Jaguar’s only real supercar – the Jaguar XJ220 – is 20 years old, and to celebrate Jaguar has released a new set of photos. And we have original XJ220 video. When sports car makers – like Ferrari and Porsche  - were delivering the world supercars like the F40 and 959 in the eighties, Jaguar had nothing to compete despite as noble a racing history.

The next generation Toyota Auris (Toyota Corolla) is due to debut this year as a 2013 model, and we get the first leaked photo. We know that a replacement for the Toyota Auris is on the horizon and we’re expecting it to make a public debut (at least in Europe) at the Paris Motor Show in September before going on sale by the end of 2012. But now, thanks to a Japanese Magazine scan, we have a pretty good idea what Toyota’s new Auris/Corolla is going to look like, and it seems to be the current Auris with a dose of Lexus thrown in for good measure.
