Hey there, I am selling a set (6) connecting rods that were removed from a 1950 Ford 226 engine. I found the reason the engine was removed from the truck was because one of the rods had the piston pin bushing come loose. It was still in the small end of the rod but I was able to slide it right out with my fingers. It had to be rattling a bit. So one rod will need a new bushing. The bearings were all good so the big ends are probably fine. These have been cleaned and checked for straightness and they are all fine.  I am selling all 6 but if these don't sell I will sell a few at a time later. Email me if you only want one or two. I am selling these as cores but the engine was running a year ago. The engine only had about 20K miles since it was rebuilt about 15 years ago.  Please email me with any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Shipping to the lower 48 states only and the shipping is a flat rate of $19.00, USPS.

Toyota C-HR Concept revealed as a funky urban crossover

Mon, 22 Sep 2014

Toyota C-HR Concept revealed as a funky urban crossover Last week we had a tease for the Toyota C-HR Concept and now, with its debut just over a week away at the Paris Motor Show, Toyota has revealed the first couple of photos. Likely based on the Auris – and arriving in 2015 as the Toyota Auris Cross – the C-HR Concept is a funky, high-riding urban crossover aimed at the burgeoning crossover market and destined to slot in below the RAV-4. What the C-HR Concept also does is preview a more cutting-edge design language from Toyota with shallow headlights merging in to the front grill, vertical running lights, big haunches, oversized wheels (which are unlikely to make production) and boomerang-shaped LED tail lights.

The Mitsubishi Evo X - Last of the breed What ‘O’? Yes, it’s Sunday morning and none of our brains are exactly on fire. But we still seem to be thinking more clearly than Mitsubishi, who have revealed they are to drop the Evo and concentrate on electric cars and hybrids.
